They are loving dogs and they understand each other very well. The only reason we have to re-home them is because we have our 7 year old Doberman and 6 year old dachshund (both males) and Ruger does not do well with them. If he has a muzzle on, he does well but we don’t want him muzzled all the time, so we have to keep them apart. We love him very much but we want him to be in a home where he feels comfortable and have free range without a muzzle. And we’ve put so much thought into it and are heartbroken removing him from the home so we’ve made the difficult decision to rehome our female along with him so that they can stay together since they are two peas in a pod, if possible. Our priority is finding them the right home for them. Thank you!
